Anna Sorensen, MD
Anna was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; however, in her late teens she moved and immigrated to Canada. There she worked as a Marketing Coordinator and Graphic Designer for a Software company before deciding to return to education to ultimately achieve her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at the Toronto Metropolitan University, during that time she also worked as a lab manager for a Medical Physics lab working on targeted ultrasound therapies. She then completed her Master’s of Science in Clinical Research and Palliative Medicine, at the University of Toronto. Her passion for patient care led her back to Wisconsin to complete her medical degree at UW-Madsion, where she fell in love with Radiology. Anna is a privileged member of the Abdominal-Image Guided Intervention Laboratory and is interested in advanced imaging tools as well as interventional oncology and its intersection with palliative medicine.
