Lab Memory
I am forever grateful for the wonderful mentorship and research experience I gained working with Dr. Lee and Dr. Brace as a resident. I participated first-hand in the process of asking and answering compelling and important scientific questions and using resources in creative and efficient ways to answer those questions. I learned that strong teamwork is the key to the successful completion of an experiment or project. I’ll never forget the excitement of imaging our porcine model with ultrasound and CT and seeing the results unfold. The strong mentorship continued through preparation and publication of our manuscript. My time in the lab was an important milestone in my career development. The lab leaders and members are world-class and I always enjoy hearing about their latest work.
