Grace Minesinger, BS

Position title: Graduate Research Assistant

Grace Minesinger is a Medical Physics PhD student at UW Madison. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in physics with highest distinction in May 2022. She is now working under Dr. Paul Laeseke and Dr. Martin Wagner in the Image Guided Interventions Lab to develop a biomechanical deformable image registration technique to compensate for respiratory motion and other organ deformations that occur during histotripsy treatment. After earning her PhD at UW, she will be pursuing a medical physics residency to build a career as a clinical medical physicist. In her free time, she enjoys running, baking, and drawing portraits.
