Dr. Longo completed an interventional radiology fellowship at University of Wisconsin after her residency. She is now in private practice at Radiology Waukesha, WI where she was just appointed as the director of interventional oncology.
Lab Memory
I started researching with Fred when I was an R1. He asked me if I was interested in doing research during a staff out in the CT reading room. I enthusiastically said yes but also said that I had to finish planning my wedding first! I will always fondly remember how excited we were when we first started imaging pig livers after performing hepatic histotripsy. It was such a fun experience to be a part of that initial excitement. We had great times traveling to Boston and New Orleans and going out to eat to celebrate our lab victories and plan our next steps.
