Mircea Cristescu, MD, MBA

Dr. Cristescu worked in Dr. Lee’s lab on ablation and histotripsy research while completing radiology residency at the University of Wisconsin from 2012-2017. He currently serves on faculty as an interventional radiologist at Emory University.

Sometimes life leads you to unexpected places that have a tremendous impact on who you are and the way you see the world. For me, being able to work with Dr. Lee and the other wonderful faculty and staff at UW was one of those experiences. I consider myself extremely fortunate, and find myself using the skills and knowledge that I acquired during my time at UW nearly every day in my own practice.
