Med Student Awarded RSNA Research Prize

We are happy to share that Dr. Chris Brace’s student, Jason Chiang, has been chosen by the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Scientific Program Committee to receive the RSNA Trainee Research Prize.

Chiang submitted his project, “Creating a More Spherical Tumor Ablation Zone through Microwave Antenna Optimization,” in the ‘Medical Student’ category. At this year’s RSNA conference, Chiang will receive $1000 and a certificate during his presentation. Additionally, he will have the opportunity to be photographed with the Committee.

RSNA will be publicizing award winners at its 2011 meeting, so look out for Chiang’s work and that of other up and coming researchers.
